New Kitchen Sink

So this may seem like a weird request but I asked for a new

kitchen sink! One of many things on the list that I want to do

to the house.

So this was the old sink. (Guy took it out while I was gone so

I didn't get a before pic while still in.) Granted it may be a

little dirtier after he took it out but it was still pretty icky!

Notice some of the stains I pointed to. Not only that, it

seemed that something melted part of the sink so there were

rough spots too.

So here is the new sink!

Isn't it purty!!!! So shiny and clean!

Loooove it!

Craft room remodel has begun.

I am sure that most of you have seen or own one of these cheapy white bookshelves. They are great for storage but I wanted to jazz it up a little.

So I used scrapbook paper of all black and white prints to embellish. A little mod podge (looooove mod podge!) and slap it on like wallpaper.

I think it gives it a little bit of character now. After I add a few more embellishments I think it will be good.

We built our home in 2002 and I could say that it has come to that point where things are needing to be updated and redecorated except I think I have painted at least one room every year we have lived there.  So.....I guess I am just itching once again to do some redecorating.  Do you remember the TLC show 'While You Were Out'?  Well, Guy says that is his life daily.  I must say that my redecorating has slowed down a little bit as I have finalllllllllly found colors that I like or I have done projects that are pretty much permanent, like installing glass tile to the backsplash in our kitchen.

Well, my craft room is in dier need of a fixin'!  It was a rush move in rooms and I wasn't sure exactly where I wanted things so now that I have been using this room for a little while I think I know what and where I want things.  I have some ideas, thanks to some great crafting blogs, and am very excited and a little overwhelmed to get started!  Here are some before pics. (these are hard for me to share because I don't like all this chaos but surprisingly a lot of crafts have been made in this mess!)

The kids bathroom is also in need of an update.  I finally switched the bathroom from being all girly (having only Morgan for 7 years) to something that would be gender neutral but I couldn't decide on all the details.  So after shower curtain, towels and rugs were bought that is as far as I got.  So now I am ready to tackle that room as well.
